ham wins a gold medal at the Swiss contest "Concours Suisse des Produits du Terroire 2009-10"!

This contest invites the producers of all Switzerland to present and submit their products to a jury made up of consumers, specialists in tasting, producers and representatives of the professional gastronomy.

Five categories of products are evaluated: dairy products; bakery and pastry products; meat products; products containing fruits, vegetables and honey; and finally alcoholic drinks.

For this edition 2009, the contest took place in Delémont-Courtemelon with nearly 1000 products in competition coming from 23 different cantons. The registered products were submitted to a jury directed by Swiss specialists in the field of the sensory analysis.

A gold medal indicates that the product belonged to the best of its category, taking into consideration its organoleptic quality.
