The Large White pig race:

Rustic race originating of the Yorkshire county in England, the Large White race presents the best growth performance.

The Large White is characterized by silks without pigmentation and a beautiful uniformly white coat. It is a pig of big size with its lengthened body which presents a good skeleton as well as an excellent distribution of the muscular mass with a good body balance. Broad White is adaptable to diverse breeding systems.

Its meat is of excellent quality. It has a beautiful color and a good texture. Moreover, it offers a strong water holding capacity which induces a limited loss of volume during the processes of cooking or drying. The thickness of bacon is low.
